Raven

A two-day block-in done at the Grand Central Atelier. 

I've been trying to work on my speed, and my focus recently has been on developing expressive pieces. Sadly I was unable to render it, because the pose was over... therefore, I tried to express volume with some hatching and the eraser, as my instructor Patrick Byrnes suggested. 

(I guess I will truthfully admit then that this drawing was mostly done with an eraser.)
